The iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour is their first in a decade to include indoor arenas. In contrast to their massive U2 360°, where they filled Camp Nou for two concerts, this time they have chosen to do more intimate concerts. The theme for the tour is from innocence to experience, and is an emotional story.
The stage is built with the theme in mind. One larger part is set aside for iNNOCENCE and a smaller part is set aside for eXPERIENCE. A bridge connects the two stages. The tour is based on the “Songs of Innocence” album which was released in 2014. It is expected that their next album will be called “Songs of Experience” and continue the progression from this tour.
Tickets were sold out very quickly all the way back in December last year. The concerts will be held on the 5th, 6th, 9th and 10th of October. Warm up bands will be playing from 19:30 and U2 is expected on stage at 21:00.
