FC Barcelona controlled the match from beginning to end, and Ivan Rakitic scored their first goal after just 4 minutes. Álvaro Morata equalized in the 55th minute for Juventus. Then Luis Suárez put Barcelona in the lead again 13 minutes later. A wonderful comeback from Suárez after a troubled start to the season with his four-month suspension. In the end, Neymar also got his goal, 7 minutes on overtime.
The victory was celebrated Saturday night all over Barcelona and Catalonia. Then on Sunday, the team received a welcome of champions when they returned to Barcelona, and there was a huge victory party at the Camp Nou together with the fans. A night to remember.
