The traditional tennis tournament is the oldest one of its kind in Spain and is one of the most prestigious clay court tournaments in the ATP World Tour. Barcelona Open 2015 attracts some of the best tennis players in the world. The biggest favorite, at least among the Spanish fans, is Rafael Nadal. He also has the most wins at the tennis tournament. He won the championship every year from 2005-2009 and again in 2011-2013. At that time he was also ranked as the number 1 tennis player in the world.
