In 2014 over 15 000 runners took part in the marathon, and this year they are expecting even more participants. The 37th Barcelona Marathon will be held on the 15th of March this year.
The route goes through some beautiful parts of Barcelona and is both flat and scenic. Along the way there are water points. Close to the start and finish line you will find massage services, showers and changing rooms. The spectators have not been forgotten either, there are many entertainment points along the route with food tasting, music and other cultural activities.
